Building momentum after a stellar 2017, in which the Forte sold over 100,000 units, Kia is anything but complacent. The top-selling 2019 Kia Forte is completely redesigned. A sexier exterior gets an aggressive face lift with tighter, cleaner lines, a tigher-nose grill, and a full-width LED accent light in the rear. Changes to the dimensions, a few inches longer, a half an inch taller, and almost an inch wider, means more cargo, head, and legroom inside. An upgraded 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle inline-four cylinder engine offers similar specs as last years model but swaps the six-speed automatic with a continuously variable automatic. This grants a boost to fuel economy, with a promised 35 MPG combined. The interior gets a sleek, simplified dashboard with a tablet-style touchscreen granting 8" of retail space with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration standard. Kia intends to keep the Forte in the top spot in the hatchback class. Read on for more details about the stunning, redesigned 2019 Kia Forte.
